Press release submitted by Genesis Free admission to Genesis Shootout For Young Athletes from Donahue Sportsmen's Club DAVENPORT, Iowa
-- Dec. 4, 2012 -- All young athletes who participate in activities of the Donahue Sportsmen's Club will receive free admission to the Genesis Shootout. Kids who participate in sports through the Donahue Sportsmen's Club will receive free admission to the Genesis Shootout on Dec. 15 at Augustana College if they wear a jersey, t-shirt or hat from their team in Donahue. Adults with the kids will be charged a regular $5 admission. Genesis Health System also announced that the health system will help keep youth sports activities going in Donahue, Iowa by donating suite packages for a Quad City Mallards game and a 2013 Quad City River Bandits game to the Donahue Sportsmen's Club.
The suite packages, which include $100 snack packages, can be used as silent auction or raffle prizes. "The Donahue Sportsmen's Club needs community support right now to keep the games going for kids,'' Genesis spokesman Craig Cooper said. "We hope other organizations will help out the best they can to get the Donahue Sportsmen's Club through this difficult period.''
